MOT Class 1 & 2

Class 1 and 2 MOT tests apply to motorcycles. Class 1 is for motorcycles with an engine size up to 200cc, while Class 2 covers motorcycles with engines over 200cc, including scooters and mopeds. The MOT ensures that these vehicles meet the necessary road safety and environmental standards, checking components such as brakes, lights, steering, suspension, tyres, exhaust systems, and frame condition. This test is required annually for motorcycles over three years old to confirm their roadworthiness and compliance with legal standards.
